The Waymo station charging electric vehicles with a bunch of CNG generators is…. such a not good look 😭. Like logically we know that even when they charge from the grid a significant part of that energy is fossil fuel generated but still. The optics just look not great.
Agreed but from an operations pov, these make a lot of sense since it allows them to get mini charging depots up and running asap without a big financial commitment compared to a full build out of charging stations..
