I’ve taken 3 Waymo’s in LA, 2 back in November, 1 this past month, and each time the cost comparison has been roughly half of what a comparable uber+tip would have been at the same time, yet I keep seeing commentary that AV rides are generally more expensive than Uber.
Any context I’m missing? Are my observations likely outliers?

Really depends when /where you're going. There's a lot of variability so always pays to check Uber x waymo x lyft.
